Our Ethos

The Sunnah Edit was created to revive and honour a beautiful Sunnah that has largely been forgotten.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ encouraged the use of olive oil, describing it as coming from a blessed tree. Inspired by this tradition, we set out to create products that bring together the benefits of olive-derived ingredients with the advances of modern formulation.

At the heart of our body oils is Olive Squalane and Olive Fruit Oil — carefully chosen for their ability to nourish, soften and support the skin with a light, elegant feel.

Our fragrances are inspired by qualities admired in the Prophetic tradition: dignity, warmth, joy and good character. Each scent is designed not merely to smell beautiful, but to reflect a quality worth embodying.

Our approach is guided by three principles:

Blessed. Beneficial. Beautiful.

Blessed in inspiration. Beneficial in formulation. Beautiful in experience.

By combining timeless Prophetic guidance with contemporary skincare science, we hope to reintroduce a Sunnah in a way that feels relevant, refined and accessible for today.

“Eat olive oil and anoint yourselves with it, for it comes from a blessed tree.” — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

Olives on the branch of a blessed tree

Our Signature Botanical

The Blessed Tree

“Eat the olive and anoint yourselves with it, for it is from a blessed tree.” — Jami` at-Tirmidhi

The foundation of true wellness lies in purity. At the heart of The Sunnah Edit is the deeply nourishing essence of the olive, sourced from the blessed tree. Ethically and sustainably harvested from the sun-soaked groves of Andalusia, Spain, our olives are cold-pressed and refined into pure squalane to preserve their rich, skin-identical vitality. By anchoring our body oils in this sacred botanical, we revive a timeless Sunnah backed by modern science, holistic wellness, and spiritual mindfulness.

Discover the Ritual

A mindful ritual of purity, softness, and presence.

Purify: Begin with pure, damp skin. Apply immediately after bathing or ablution, allowing the residual moisture to carry the rich botanicals deep into the skin.

Anoint: Dispense one to two pumps into the palms. Warm the notes between your hands, then press gently into the skin, focusing on pulse points.

Sustain: Run the remaining essence through the ends of your hair or beard, carrying the blessing of the fragrance with you throughout your day.
